The motel was easy to find. The room was clean and the shower was excellent. It was convenient that there was a Chinese Restaurant next to the motel which served good food which was reasonably priced.

Super friendly and welcoming proprietors. All basic needs are met in clean and comfortable rooms. Gilgandra Motel is conveniently close to beautiful Hunter Park, shopping and hotels and club. I would stay here again.

I did not like the bathroom at all, especially the shower….nowhere to put shampoo or anything, no shelf !!!!!! Never experienced that before.

Stayed one night on way from MEL to BNE. It was an oldish but more than adequate establishment with everything we needed; bed was comfortable; room was a good size. Not a lot of noise from other guests. Parking convenient. A bit off the highway so no road noise. Cannot comment on eating as we ate in from earlier purchases. Reception friendly and check in easy.

Chinese takeaways next door and a convince store on the corner near it. About 10 minute walk to services club or pub. Also bakery, newsagent and takeaway near by etc.

The accommodation was easy to find and quick to check in. Parking space at the room door. Simple room configuration with smart TV, coffee and Tea with milk provided in check in process. Rooms are a bit of modern and vintage however the amenities all work well and the shower is hot. What more could you ask after a long drive? The rooms are comfortable and practical so I would definitely have no problem coming back. Check out was simple and fast. Happy with my stay.

Check-in was great. Room was a good size, but a bit older. Bathroom especially was showing its age. Bed was comfy, area was quiet and we all slept well. Parking was easy, even though the motel was busy. We would stay here again.
