"We stayed here in July for one night and it was like being invited to a house party. The welcome could not have been friendlier. The accommodation was perfect and the little terrace was bathed with early evening sunshine, very pleasant. The Air con was very welcome later though. We didn't have the evening meal but it smelled delicious!! Breakfast was exactly what we needed. it was ideal and a lovely change from a chain hotel. Thanks, A little Gem!! "

" Wir kamen am Samstagabend um 21:10 Uhr vor einem verschlossenen Hotel an. Die einzige Möglichkeit zum Einchecken war ein Automat. Dort musste ich verschiedene Optionen auswählen und habe versehentlich die Option “Kindermenü” angeklickt, die sich nicht mehr löschen ließ. Dadurch musste ich ein Kindermenü bezahlen – ohne es zu benötigen. Das Zimmer war sehr klein und dunkel. Die Dusche befand sich direkt im Raum, ohne jegliche Privatsphäre – besonders problematisch, wenn man mit anderen reist....

"There is no question about this small resort it is absolutely astonishing with the surrounding scenery. It just stunning! Beautiful lake and surrounding area with plenty of other breathtaking places to visit. However the lodge we had did have a problem with hot water when we first arrived but was quickly resolved.
