The room had everything we needed for a very pleasant stay. The hotel gives you a choice of breakfast in your room or the dining area. We tried both and enjoyed the variety. The view from the hotel is simply stunning with an incredible view of one of the famous stone churches on the hill. All the staff at Hotel Caveoso were helpful and had wonderful tips for dining and touring options. Everything we wanted to see in Matera was within walking distance from the hotel. Overall a wonderful stay."

"We would definitely recommend this property, just highlighting a lot of confusion around dining table assignments, and that for some reasons the outdoor one kept being moved under the sun despite plenty of availability under the shaded areas and us moving the tables every time clearly annoyed of the sun. Another element of improvement we would have liked is availability of water bottle refilling stations around the property."
