"The room was great. Spacious and clean. The staff are what killed it for us. The reception was not helpful in any way. The rest of the staff seemed new and didn't understand what their job was. I have stayed before and all was great, so maybe new owners?"

"Peaceful oasis in Karen district. Beautiful gardens, lovely tent. Great fixed price buffet supper and breakfast. Very good value for money. Some times of year school parties visit but they're out during day and catering staff still excellent despite the numbers."

"I traveled to Nairobi, where I was picked up by a staff from hotel. Stayed at the Troy hotel for two weeks. I had plenty of dishes to choose from. The staff checked on me to make sure I was comfortable. I was greeted going out and coming in. I was asked what would I like for breakfast the next morning. This experience was delightful being a single traveler. I recommend Troy hotel. It gave a family friendly atmosphere."
