"The receptionist (a lady) was a bit rude; I understand I was trying to check in early, but there is no need to show a bad attitude toward people who want to spend money at the hotel. Special recognition goes to the cafeteria staff they are amazing and very helpful! Perhaps they should consider working at the front desk! My room had a lovely view but needs a renovation; it looks very worn."

"For an old hotel, it has been significantly improved. I had a few issues. The hallways were dark and the carpeting somewhat worn. More significantly, our room was very small and the bathroom, even smaller. For $700 per night this was inappropriate. Restaurant breakfast was dramatically overpriced. Otherwise a pleasant stay in a superb location"
