"We weren't at the property that much. Either visiting friends or attending a function. Check-in was superb. They were ready for us and we were treated with a smile. When we got into our room we were greeted by a high pitched whine and a blast of cold air. On further inspection we found the AC set at 62F and the AC fan was the culprit making the noise. I went to reception and explained the problem, saying it wasn't conducive to a good sleep or even sitting in the room to visit. The receptionist said there was no maintenance available and they were fully booked. I left with the impression we were just supposed to live with it. We tried, but it didn't make for a restful night. A/C & heat were turned off and on intermittently to try and keep the temperature in a reasonable zone. In the morning we went down for breakfast and I stopped at the desk, new receptionist, and explained the problem. She said they would have maintenance take care of it. Okay. When we returned to the room after breakfast a cheerful gentleman was already on it. He pulled out the old unit and installed a new one. Problem solved. The rest of the stay was much better. The room was clean, toiletries plentiful, and the included breakfast was acceptable."
