"Room was clean and a very good deal for the price. No real amenities, and needed more shower items, but this was my second stay (same room) and ill stay here again next week."

The front desk let us check in an hour early; our room was classy and very clean; it has a nice fitness center and sauna in the basement; and the hotel provided us with a nice welcome card and fruit tray in our room without us asking for this or charging us for it — what a nice touch. It’s one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. "

"I have stayed at many different hotels and resorts over the last 30 years. This Hampton Inn and Suites in Durham was by far one of the best if not the best. The staff were very nice and answered all of our questions. The coffee was always on and hot! The breakfast was very nice and accommodated all of our dietary needs. The location is great as well. Thank you all for making our stay very nice, relaxing, and enjoyable."

"The facility was very good. Service was very poor. The desk staff was very poor. She was talking to someone on the phone - about his upcoming stay on SPEAKER. She never looked up as we were checking out. So we just left our keys and left. No complimentary coffee in AM. There was someone sitting in the lobby that morning that just looked up at me and said “The service here is terrible”."

"i was in 2 different rooms. Both had an overwhelming smell of urine. No toilet paper, the A/C did not work. I ended my stay early because the accommodations were terrible. The only positive was the desk staff. They attempted to be helpful and canceled my stay without issue. It's unlikely that I will ever stay in a Red Roof Inn again. Does my account show that I should be receiving a refund? "
