"i have mixed views on this hotel. welcome area and staff member that welcomed us in was excellent. she was very friendly, informative and this part of the hotel was well maintained and clean. our room was good, bed big and comfortable. however the spa facilities were not great. the area surrounding the pool was very small so not any loungers and only a few chairs so no where to sit and relax. the sauna was very hot, and steam room was good. the changing rooms were dirty and the floor especially needed a deep clean. the gym was a tiny box room with a handful of weights and i spent 15 mins in there and as there was 3 other people in there it meant it was we had paid for breakfast which was very good and plenty of choice. overall i was disappointed with the 'spa' facilities which were below expectations."
"Good hotel. Room surprisingly cool despite hot weather. We did not have an air con room as non left but with 2 fans we slept well
Nice outdoor area in shad3 where we had dinner
Helpful staff"
"Breakfast not included. At molie's diner menu was too much meat based. Should have some healthy options. Could have told us about other dining places nearby."
"Stunning venue for a beautiful wedding.
Slightly disappointed that we paid extra for a junior suite and didn’t even have a bottle of water each in the room. It was 30degrees and I will say thank god for the Dyson fan in the room - that was very much needed!"
"It is on the outskirts of Gloucester, so was a great location to access the motorway. We enjoyed a good evening meal and took time to use the pool and spa.
Paying for parking was the first thing you have to do, before anything and is a negative impact on check in. We had to call reception st midnight as there were people drinking ans shouting outside but they dealt with it straightaway."
