Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review Aled. We feel as though this review is massively unfair. We were not made aware that the reservations were for a Group Booking. Had we have been informed we would have ensured a efficiently prompt check-in experience. In future we recommend liaising with the Hotel to deter from experiences such as these.

Everything you need is in the room. The staff are lovely and most accommodating. Unfortunately the other guests are not considerate and noisy. Walls are very thin so can hear everything. The first room I was given had an awful grease smell and was tiny which was disappointing as I had booked a 2 week stay. after contacting Expedia I was changed to a much more pleasant room which was bigger and had no smell. I would not stay again unfortunately due to behaviour of the other guests at the hotel. The hotel staff are all lovely and very helpful.

The hotel took a £100 pound deposit, where cash was not accepted. Lied about reverting the payment when asked directly about it, had to wait a whole month after leaving to receive my deposit back, the staff were very unhelpful throughout in the whole process. Would never stay here again.

Really enjoyed our stay. The reception lobby is a bit dark and gloomy but the room was so nice, the courtyard especially. Staff were all lovely

No real faults at except on first night of my stay light failed in the bathroom and for “ health and safety they made me move to new room which was a bit Inconvenient. However staff were polite and helpful and I finished up in a bigger upgraded room. Fridge and microwave in the rooms very useful and a great time saver when dashing about with a supermarket a minutes walk away.

Nice room in great area to explore
Very nice location in the middle of fun old Gloucester. Our trek to room 23 was hilarious... Winding through so many hallways and doors and up and down stairs... We filmed it and shared it with our kids. My son said he's had dreams like that.

We find this review unfair based on the behaviour the Guests had shown leading to them being banned.

Excellent hotel with great facilities and staff.
My stay was impromptu and very last minute, so I Googled local hotels in the area, looking for a good price and good reviews. I was extremely impressed by several aspects of the hotel and the fantastic service provided by Alice (the hotel receptionist). The room was a double (I booked a single, but there were none available so I was given a free upgrade). The room was very spacious and included: A small fridge, a microwave, cups, plates (side & dinner) and cutlery, all for two people. There was also a kettle, tea, coffee, sugar, 4 cartons of milk (in the fridge) and two small packets of biscuits. Additionally, there was a portable fan, a heater, a very large flat screen TV and "real" coat hangers! The room was very spacious and the bathroom had an excellent high pressure shower. Hand soap and shower wash were available. The bedroom and bathroom were spotless. Alice is a star! She is extremely pleasant, polite and professional. She went out of her way to find me two different power chargers and did everything she could to make my stay perfect. Don't be fooled by the hotel facade, which is very plain and (arguably) bland. The hotel has a great courtyard with an old vintage car and many old black and white photographs throughout. All in all a fantastic stay. Thanks again Alice😁

This hotel is conveniently located in the centre of Gloucester, a short walk from the sights. My room was pretty basic, but it was extremely affordable. The Reception staff were very nice.

Receptionist was lovely with excellent customer service skills. Room was of a good size and clean. The en-suite was roomy with a large shower and again very clean. Car parking was a few minuets away and this accommodation is in the centre although we did not hear any street noise due to the location of the room. The room itself had a microwave, cutlery , plates and drinking glasses . The down side was the bed! The mattress had seen better days and was most uncomfortable as were the pillows! So very little sleep that night. We paid £150 for two for a one night stay .
