The restaurant downstairs was convenient and the food was good. The staff were very helpful and accommodating especially with our bike storage. I really liked the historic aspects of the building.

We waited over 15 minutes to check in, as we had to go to the bar and wait for the bar tender to help us, but she was nice and we had a drink while we waited. The property is a bit tired (some chipped paint, slanting floors), but that is to be expected in an old building, and the location and extremely comfortable bed more than made up for that. We would definitely stay here again.

It was right downtown with easy access to the shops, galleries and coffee shops. It was reasonably priced. The breakfast was very basic but was included - it was fine for us. Would stay there again.

The hotel is very old school charm staff where super friendly and helpful the food at the hotel pub was delish . If you’re looking for a 5 star modern hotel this is not for you .I was just there one night and it was very reasonable with basic complimentary breakfast so couldn’t beat the price . Room was clean but hotel is very dated , walls are paper thin I could hear the fellow in room beside me snoring if you don’t mind that .. and the location is very convenient within walking distance to everything downtown .. I would stay again based on that ..

We knew this hotel is no high end destination. It was as expected, old and shows it. The nice things about it are the location and how quiet it was. One surprise was a great meal in the restaurant on site.

I liked the homely feel of the hotel .. stayed 1 night basic, clean and had everything we needed.. best location for shops, cafe , beach.. everyone so kind and friendly here .. will be back!

Very old building. Squeaks and noises easily traveled from other rooms. In the room we had the window was not openable for fresh air. Beds, sheets and pillows clean and comfy. Not much of amenities.

We’ve stayed at the Bedford Hotel before. Our rooms are always spotless when we check in. The staff is always pleasant and helpful, and we really like the downtown location. It’s close and convenient tithing we want to do. Plus, the price is reasonable, and the wi-fi always works well.

Had a great time at the Bedford with my girlfriend. Bed was comfortable, room was clean and the location can’t be beat. The only improvement would be that the tiling could be cleaned a bit better in the bathrooms. Great hotel.

The staff were great. I asked the staff if there was anything the could do about breakfast given I was going to be out the door very early and would miss the breakfast hours. They brought up some boiled eggs, yogurt and a banana to my room the night before which as a very nice touch. The room was in need of redecorating/ refreshing decor. The bed was very comfortable. For the price I paid, I was happy. I wasn't looking for anything fancy as I was just staying two nights while I was hiking the Maitland trail.

The staffs are friendly. Easy check in. Great location. The hotel is one of the beautiful landmarks of Goderich. The facade is architecturally beautiful and inside has a historic charm . However, the lobby, and rooms need a full makeover. And the carpeted floors must go.

Parking was perfect and free . Room was very clean and friendly staff . Talked with the lady at the front desk about the history of the hotel building. Loved the staircase very unique and different. Definitely would stay again
