thank you April for your review, most people choose to stay here because we are right in the middle of surfers, walking distance to dozens of restaurants, close to the beach, close to everything,unfortunately that also means many people are walking past our building all hours of the night, with some of them coming back to our building all hours of the night after enjoying a night out in surfers paradise

thanks for your review Maree, you did mention to my night manager that you could not lock the door, you pushed the button but could still open the door from the inside, when i asked you to try and get in from the outside after i pushed the button on the inside and found it to be locked with no acsess from outside,you then made the comment that you still felt unsafe,all of these locks work the same way, push the button on the inside then nobody can get in without a keyhope you understand this, you were perfectly safe

please Kylie be honest with your reviewthe room has recently been upgraded with new carpet, and new furniture, our guest rang reception to complain about somebody having a loud argument on the phoneshe thought it was next door to her room 18only a few minutes after that you came down and wanted to cancel your room, my receptionist said she could not cancel it as you booked through expedia and you were in the room for an hour, leaving food wrappers on the bed where you had been sitting, it was also too late to clean the room and to rebook it, as far as the presentation of our motel goes we are proud of it, we emphatically keep it clean and have many photo's on our website showing all things you say are bad, all of our rooms have been totally refurbished if i could attach photos here i wouldthe room is immaculate, even brand new plush carpet everywhere, ( i don't understand your comment about beer cigarettes' and deodorizer) please check our website and you will see brand new plush carpet in every room, as well as brand new furniture throughout

so sorry the floor has got brand new plush carpet which has not settled down yet, we have a handyman booked to come and take 2 mill off the bottom of the door

sorry to hear you hurt your arm, but i am wondering where that happened because our car park does not have any railing anywhere,

sorry to hear you were not happy with the room, had you informed us we could have moved you to another room,we had renovated 10 of our rooms in august but we (put the rest of the reno's off untill early November when we are traditionally quiet) then we are upgrading the rest ready for the xmas holidays,0

thank you Christine, we are right in the middle of surfers paradise and we get a lot of people booking our rooms because of the closeness to the casino, many restaurants & many night clubs, and the closeness to surfers paradise beaches, parking in surfers is extremely limited as a large majority of gold coast tourists fly in, and don't have cars, we only have parking for 12 cars which is less than half of our needs, our website says off street secure parking is available,but nowhere does it say parking is free,we get many people entering the building throughout the night coming back from various parties 7 venuesi am sorry if our motel was not what you were expecting

sorry you felt bad, our prices are the lowest in town as we are undergoing refurbishment with all new furniture and new carpets, we waited for 5 months for telstra to come and install WiFi so that we could have TV's in our rooms, now that we have unlimited WiFi for all guests we are installing televisions to our rooms,we are truly sorry that you were not comfortable we look forward to your next visit as we are sure you will be pleased with the upgrade ,

sorry Christie we did reply,you complained that night about bugs in your room,the next morning we got a pest man in to check the room out for bugs, he said there are no bugs in the room,when you stayed with us our prices were the cheapest on the gold coast with the only ones who are cheaper than us is the backpacker style accommodation, with dormitory bedding and shared bathroomsin our motel there are private bath rooms and private balconies to every room,sorry you didn't feel comfortable

Hi SabrinaSorry you were hot the Weather has been a bit extreme. We are in the process of putting air conditioning in the rooms with no Fans. With in a few months all air conditioners should be installed
