"Charming hotel in beautiful location. Staff was great. When we checked in I asked about gluten free bread at breakfast. When we came down the next morning the staff member said, “Your gluten free bread is in the oven, only 5 or 10 minutes until it’s done. Room and bed were very nice. Great walk in shower. If we stop in Angoulême again I’d definitely choose the Hotel des Arts!"

"This is the best place that I have ever stayed in. It’s truly magnificent. Historic, luxurious, serene and romantic. The staff were impeccable. The food was stunning.
