"Do not spend the money for this horribly outdated hotel! You are much better off staying at an "apartment" that one of the locals can provide. I am not an overly picky hotel guest, and I come from a Croatian background, so I normally cut hotels some slack in Croatia, knowing that they are not quite what I would expect in North America, but I couldn't wait to leave this horrible relic from the old communist days of tourism. "A lovely little hotel for our first night in Croatia. We wanted a place not too far from Zadar airport on the way to Plitvice. The hotel was perfect as it is newly renovated and spotlessly clean. The room was very comfortable and furnished to a high spec though a chair would have been appreciated. We had time for a lovely walk along the river to a waterfall then enjoyed an excellent pizza and beer at the hotel overlooking the river. The drive from the hotel to Plitvice is stunning."

"The property is very peaceful, being nicely off the beaten track – and was easy to find. It had everything we needed, and the host and her family made us feel very welcome – from local brandy and pancakes as welcome gifts to popcorn on another evening. A really lovely place to stay near some great days out."

"I would like to say that I was very disappointed that you have to buy your own water when dinning. It’s as if they are cashing in on your need to drink water with your meal. Water is an everyday need for survival. I think you really need to look at this as many others talked about this also while I was there as was very disappointed! "
