"Very convenient hotel for what we needed. The food was nice and the breakfast good value. The room was a decent size for two of us but small for a family room. TV in the room was slow and difficult to change channels. The temperature control in the shower was broken and set on hot. Just about manageable. Finally, and this is only a problem I guess with the current heatwave is that there was no air conditioning and the window had to be shut at night due to noise from other rooms. All in all though a good hotel and one we would use again."

"The hotel was clean. Staff were lovely and helpful. The decor was very dated and in need of some serious TLC. It was quite noisy - lots of doors banging throughout the night, but this probably depends on the guests. Parking could have been free, but was an additional £5 a day, which isn't too bad I guess. Disappointed that given the hotel's history it didn't champion Wales in it's offerings - the tea bags in the room were for Yorkshire tea and the breakfast products were from Somerset, of course this doesn't make or break your stay but would have been a nice touch. All in all a perfectly ok stay."
