"Nicer than the average two--star hotel and better than the other options in the area (in my opinion). The practice of charging a resort fee at check-in is deceptive, especially when my Expedia booking says nothing about it. It has become a common practice among hotels but I think it is dishonest and I won't five stars for any hotel that does it"

"This was a place my grandparents chose to stay in, while traveling with my sister and I, when we were kids. It was 1970! This place has seen better days, but the room was clean, everything worked, and loved to themed rooms. I had the Harley room. This hotel is not the Marriott, but I was not expecting to be. It was a great trip down memory lane, on old Route 66, and I got a great nights sleep."
