Good place to stay for a layover but not for any reason than that

Perfect location. Convenient walking distance to public transport, attractions, supermarkets and cafes. The room is generously spacious and equipped with a kitchenette, which allows one to have a proper breakfast in the room, and even dinner. A value for money stunner.

Great location, lovely rooms, very helpful concierge

Overall loved our stay in Sydney. One thing though ,heating in our room didn't work and we were stone cold. We endured but was the only drawback from a otherwise great stay. Thx

We have stayed at Rydges World Square many times. It has a great location and the rooms are quiet and clean. The staff are helpful. This time I gave a lower rating because I feel that the hotel is becoming worse for wear and poorer value for money. The carpets in the corridors are definitely looking shabbier although the rooms are clean. Also the price has risen and we were asked if wanted to cancel our room servicing - we were only staying two nights - i.e. one day's service which cost over $700.00. Parking is another inflated expense. Still happy with the hotel, but after staying there many times we feel it is deteriorating and poorer value for money. We parked nearby for a fraction of the cost.
