"The staff was warm, attentive, and friendly, and they immediately addressed any issues that arose. The secluded, intimate property in the heart of the bustling surf town was exactly what we sought for a 5 day/4 night stay. The pool was a plus, and the tub in the room was a nice place to relax during any rain showers that popped up. The property is walkable with direct access to the beach, a food truck park, and the rest of town. Right on the property, we saw monkeys, iguanas, and other wildlife. We would stay again, and we highly recommend Ocho to anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating vacation. "

"This is a boutique hotel with quaint clean rooms. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant is more expensive than other restaurants in town so didn’t eat there but in the morning they had delicious free coffee for guests. "

"We absolutely fell in love with the Pipe House charm and the warm and friendly owner! Great vibes, beautiful location just steps from the beach, unique lodgings and fun common areas to hang out. We can’t say enough about this gem of a place. We ate dinner down the way at the Swells Cafe Playa Grande. This is a very special place to be! I plan on returning in the future. Hopefully sooner than later. "
