"We had a lovely stay for our 25th Wedding Anniversary, we upgraded our room to Super Deluxe which was very spacious and had a great view of the lake. A card was left in our room wishing us a happy anniversary which was a nice touch. Perfect location, breakfast was good and staff were exceptional. Our room wasn’t ready until 4 which is what the hotel states as check in time, this is a bit later than most hotels but we enjoyed a drink at the bar while we waited. Overall a lovely relaxing stay and we would definitely return. "

"I was staying for one night and generally I can’t fault the hotel for its friendly staff, good food and the comfy bed. However I was in a single room, my choice, but the bathroom was far too small. Not sure what the other rooms are size wise, but don’t choose a single room. The TV on the wall was bigger!"

"The room was clean and looked as if it had been recently renovated, comfy bed. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and very nice. Staff are friendly and very attentive. The hotel is currently undergoing much needed external renovation works. The stair carpet badly needs renewed."
