"The room was very spacious, felt like a studio apartment. The room was clean. The beds were comfortable and the pillows soft. There were black-out curtains. The AC was a challenge for us to get right at night. Breakfast was served buffet-style, offering a wide selection each morning, including eggs, sausages, sweet rolls, muffins, toast, and a variety of juices and teas. I appreciated that coffee was available throughout the day. However, we were disappointed that the restaurant wasn't always open in the evening. There were "grab and go" items available all day. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location was close to shopping, restaurants, and activities. I liked that the parking was free."

"The staff was super nice but this hotel has really seen better days! It was fine as a stopover for 1 night but wouldn't want to stay longer. It was clean enough but everything is just really old and in need of a refurb. There was a pile of trash and broken glass at the corner of the balcony off of our room and a 'flower planter' full of very dead weeds, plus peeling paint everywhere. It was quiet though, and conveniently located. But Nevada City deserves better!"

We always had parking infront of our room and check in and check out was super fast and simple. The staff we interacted with for check in/out were super nice and helpful about food options around us. We absolutely plan to stay here for our trip out next time"
