"Room smelled horrible, entire window metal frame was broken as if it had been broken into before, bathroom mirror was missing but the bolts were all there? Multiple holes in the room were covered with grout, bed sheets were stained. Front desk didn’t even bother to change me from rooms or even suggested a refund."

"We did not stay at this hotel. The clerk was so nice that we hated to cancel after checking in (but before moving in). However ... The property is in a location we weren't comfortable parking our car. The exterior of the building and the parking lot need lots of attention -- not overly dirty, just really battered looking. We did arrive before check-in time, and the one available room was clean but had a huge dip in the floor. The cleaner was working on the room next door while blaring rap music. On the way to the room we got to look behind the building, and there seemed to be a bit of a homeless encampment there. The final straw was that the one window in the room was in the covered alleyway between the buildings, so no sunlight and no privacy. Since we planned to stay 3 nights, we knew we had to walk away, something we have never done before. The hotel management seemed to take it in stride and, to their credit, they did not charge a penalty for late "cancellation.""
