I had contacted the hotel about a shuttle, via email, phone call and in person. Each time, I was told that it was added to my reservation that I would need a shuttle. Each time I followed up it seemed to be a surprise to which ever staff member I was speaking with that I would need a shuttle. I did as instructed when I arrived in Great Falls I called the number provided and I was on hold for 45 minutes (three separate calls because at some point I just hung up in anger). When I finally got through they informed me that the shuttle was not working and I would need to contact the taxi service and the hotel would pay for it "If you really have a reservation with us". This last part was said so rudely I was shocked. I had called the hotel earlier in the day and made sure my shuttle was set up. I know the weather was atrocious (wind chills colder that the area has ever seen), but I left my phone number to contact if I needed to make other arrangements. When I finally arrived at the hotel, which make no mistake has always been a nice place to stay, the front desk clerk was rude to the people in front of me and then was quite condescending to me. I didn't bring up paying for the taxi because at this point I was just wanting to go to bed.
The hotel was nice. The discussion via email and on the phone (when I confirmed my shuttle) was pleasant. But the front desk clerk just ruined my opinion of the hotel and I don't plan to ever stay there again.
