Lovely stay at the Wellesley. Good value for a basic hotel. Nice comfortable room. Welcome tea, coffee and biscuits. Nice big towels (can't stand the silly little ones you get in some places). Good position away from the main Great Yarmouth area but very easy walk to get there (10 minutes slow walk).Only place I've stayed in where you can't have food or alcohol in the room but rules is rules and i saw that from reading reviews before we booked so happy to conform. Would stay again. Only complaint was a very noisy fan in the bathroom which wasn't an issue during the day but at night would wake light sleepers. Finally, i was a little worried it would be noisy as our room was at the foot of the stairs but no noise at all. 👍
Before booking, read house rules , I been told by the hostess than I’m not allowed to have glass of bubbly or even beer after hot day in the beach in my own space ( room ). I thought that was a bit odd.
The owner of the hotel was very welcoming, friendly, helpful. She always asked if we had any issues. Room was cleaned everyday. The hotel was in perfect location with free parking.

Had a really great time hotel was lovely and so was anna very helpfull would definitely stay again
Extremely clean and well maintained. Anna and her staff(family) were very friendly and helpful from check in to leaving.
Daily cleaning is exemplary.
Owing to recent Covid19 restrictions, the dining was not open for breakfast, which is fully understandable. Very good beachside cafe 5 minutes walk and plenty of other options in the town 5-10 minutes walk.
Will definitely be booking to return very soon
5*
Could not rate them better, really friendly, room was completely clean and was cleaned every day and actually smelt clean. If we needed anything nothing was too much. Would 1000% stay there again.
We really enjoyed our stay here. Rooms are really clean & spacious. My daughter is coming back in a week and a half with her dad any extended family. The owners are lovely.
Nice clean hotel but very basic. Rooms are really only for sleeping in. Comfortable double bed however the bunk beds creaked badly every time you moved on them.
No breakfast available on site although advertised as payable at the property. All covid related.
En suite was very small but useable and clean.
Free road parking outside the hotel. We didn’t use the car whilst staying as everything is in walking distance. Hotel is in a good location for all seafront and town activities.
Can recommend The Hamburger for breakfast in town and The Prom pub on the seafront for a drink.
No bar at the hotel and own alcohol and food not permitted. Tea and coffee facilities in the room that were topped up daily. Clean towels daily.
Only saw host on arrival and checkout was just leaving keys on the side in the hallway.

It was a clean if not very basic Hotel, though in house rules about eating and consumption of food or drinks in the room particularly alcoholic very draconian, given the fact it’s meant to be a hotel,
Very kind and helpful hosts. Room was clean and comfortable. Didn't hear other guests. No alcohol rule which suited us. Easy free parking. 2 mins from lovely long beach. Would definitely stay here again.
The room was spotless. Bathroom was small but very clean. They gave me a family room instead of a double, the sink in the bathroom was so low, very uncomfortable. Could have done with a little table and chair, to sit down and enjoy the tea .
Biscuits and tea coffee were replenished daily and fresh towels daily.
Just come back from a 3 night stay from this hotel.Lovely and clean tea and coffee making facilities.Rooms cleaned every day.Parking outside perfect location.Would definitely stay again
Loved it and would certainly return.
Can’t comment on breakfast as due to COVID-19 this wasn’t available but the rest of the service was great, large clean room and nice and quiet.
Situated in a quiet, tree lined street and only a 5 minute walk to The Britannia Pier.
Central hotel, parking right outside, good value, very clean, friendly owners.

Suitable for a family on an overnight stay
Family room with a double and bunk beds for 4 people. Friendly hotel. Bathroom was small but room size was fine. It was suitable for an overnight stay but if staying longer I would choose something bigger. Position was good
Lovely hotel close to the beech and the town both in walking distance friendly staff price very reasonable i would definitely recommend it to friends and family and anyone else who is interested would definitely check in again
