"Staff is rude, call down to find out when restaurant was to open they hung up on me, asked for extra blanket, never came, I stayed there in the 90s ... it looks the same, I hear owners want to convert to apartments ... I think that's a good idea since the hotel is in horrible shape"

"The hotel is in a great location for walking old Sacramento. That was the high point. It’s literally right off the highway. The highway is loud from the location, if you’re bothered by noise. They have breakfast, but it’s coffee, a few muffins and bagels only. The property is being renovated, they started work on that very early in the morning. If you’re looking for a no frills easy place to stay while exploring the city, this is the place."
