"The resort was good overall, but it lacked the finesse I’ve experienced at some other resorts. The staff were genuinely great and provided excellent service throughout our stay, which was definitely one of the highlights.
That said, there were several maintenance issues around the resort that took away from the experience — things like loose or damaged tiles, a nail sticking out of the floor, and a handrail that wasn’t fitted properly. Small details, but noticeable in a hotel of this standard.
The cocktails also need some improvement. For example, the mojito arrived without mint, and quite a few of the cocktails just tasted overly sweet and syrupy rather than properly balanced.
Food was very hit and miss across both the restaurants and the buffet. Some meals were enjoyable, but others were disappointing — the chicken was often very dry, and the burgers from the street food bar were really inconsistent. One was fine, while another was rock hard.
On the positive side, the pool area, views, and overall service were excellent. If the hotel can improve the consistency of the food and drinks, along with tightening up maintenance and operational details, it could easily become an incredible resort."
"This hotel was so beautiful. The bed was comfy and the water pressure with the waterfall shower head was so good. The buffet breakfast opened at 8am and was so yummy! The hotel was about a 20 minute walk from the port in Naxos and is within walking distance to all the restaurants and cafes you could want. The water on the beach was so clear and beautiful. We stayed here in late May and the water was cold but refreshing after a long day!
The hotel also had its own shuttle service for an extra fee that was very convenient!!"
"We enjoyed our stay. Great view of caldera. Shame about the weather as would have been lovely to sit on balcony or by pool area. The shower room had a smell of drains which wasn't pleasant. Breakfast was ok - plentiful but ready prepared plates rather than given the choice of what to have. Would have preferred to have a buffet style which also would have been less wasteful. Reception staff friendly and helpful. We appreciated the luggage storage on our last day. Hotel situated within easy walk of Imerovigli and Fira town. Bus from Fira town was a far cheaper way of transferring to the airport than using taxi (about 15 min walk down the hill). Hotel arranged taxi from airport to hotel at a cost of €25 pp whereas bus cost €2.20 pp."
