This is a wonderful hotel that really cares for it's guests - feeding us when we arrived late, helping to look after our 3 year old when he was ill, & generally making us feel very welcome. It's also just a great, comfortable & clean hotel, with excellent facilities. I can't recommend highly enough.

It was a nice stay in the hotel ,we changed the room into a very nice room , the reception was very helpful at a time we stay.. Kitchen guy witha bit of a sad attitude who was doing cooking,,seems like unhappy individual But the hotel overal is nice to stay

I have to rave about the Aegean View Hotel. The views, the staff, the rooms and outstanding service. I would give it 10 stars. They made our stay out extra special, they helped us out with transfers, car rentals, arranging for my birthday cake and so much more. The food is also very good, not to mention the awesome drinks prepared by Dimitris. Thanks to George and the entire staff for making it the best vacation ever. We wish you many blessings and success always!

wonderful place to stay
we went for our honeymoon and it was the best place to go. the staffs were great, beautiful rooms with a great view and you could see the sunrise from your balcony. we recommend this place 100% for people to go and stay. the location also was great,

This is a great hotel in a great location. We had a veranda overlooking the town and the sea and the family room had everything we needed and was attractive. The pool was a hit with the kids. The ‘buffet’ breakfast was served to us each day by friendly staff due to social distancing. Few minutes walk to the restaurants and beach...and couple minutes to drive up a terrifying road the Ancient Thera.

This is a family operated hotel, George, Zoe and the entire team was so wonderful! The property is well kept and located at a beautiful area away from the touristy craziness!! They’re family friendly, and we had a wonderful time with our 6m old baby. We look forward to going back next summer! Highly recommend! :)

Family run business with an amazing family that will do anything to make your stay comfortable.They offered us an amazing upgrade for free which made our stay incredible.There is a restaurant on the premise and walking distance to beautiful Kamari beach.Definitely recommend this hotel.They made you feel as if you were part of their family

The staff is exceptional and the view incredible. The room, although it looked really nice, had horrible beds and the bathroom was a challenge (poor plumbing and a shower that makes the entire room wet). I want to emphasize that I truly cannot say enough about the WONDERFUL staff and the view. I would stay here again just for them!

Beautiful boutique hotel. For someone traveling on a budget, the Aegean View couldn't be more perfect. On site restaurant/bar. Lovely pool. Beautiful views. The staff goes above and beyond your expectations.

I liked the personal touch. It is a family owned property and every single person went out of their way to make our stay really pleasant. I met families that have been coming here for years. I myself felt welcome like family and I can see their point From vangelis to zoey to Lois to the owner his wife( I couldn’t get their names only because I don’t speak Greek) everyone was “nice” Location is perfect. Perched on a height to have a good view of sea yet the the right amount of distance (5 minutes walk) to the noisy promenade We had a great time. I really wish them good luck.

Online pictures must have been done with a very good photographer as the property is very dated and needs to be refurbished. There is a reason no bathroom pictures, I cannot believe how much I paid through expedia for this very old property. Staff was very nice but disappoint how much I paid for a very poor accommodation in Santorini.

If you want an ultra modern hotel - then this is not for you. But if you want outstanding service from a family run hotel then - this is well worth a visit. The staff booked a car for us, booked our taxis and recommended restaurants and places of interest. They could not do enough for us. Rooms could do with an update but they were very clean and we had clean towels every day. Bring your own beach towels as none were provided. It's a 5 minute walk to the beach bars and restaurants and 15 minutes to the airport.

A family gem
The family that run this hotel are amazing and friendly hosts nothing is too much trouble. The views are amazing and the beautiful tiny chapel adjacent is amazing and is beautiful inside. The beds are a little hard and that is the only improvement I could recommend. The hill is a bit of a climb but the views make up for it and we got a taxi some nights from kamari town for 8-10 euros. Vangellis and George both are very helpful and knowledgeable. The pizzas are lovely from the pool bar and everywhere is well cared for and spotless. A pleasure to stay here and would come again.

Aegean View Hotel is well located with nice views. The property is clean and rooms are spacious. The breakfast is good with enough options to get your day off with a good start. The family who run the hotel are very kind and there to help with anything you would need. I would recommend using the bus to get around, it is 1.80 euro and only 15 minutes to Fira. I would highly recommend this hotel.

A Very Nice Hotel
This is a good hotel and excellent value. It is in a quiet location about 15 minutes by car from the ferry port and Thira. It is close to the airport but not noisey. It is tucked against the cliffs and most room balconies have an ocean view. The rooms are spacious. Our room had simple kitchenette. The staff are very pleasant and helpful.

Amazing family run hotel with fantastic views
We stayed at this hotel for a week and we are group of five. We all had a fabulous time, great food, always freshly done and good value, big portions too!! The room we had was very spacious for five of us and with a loft. Vangellis was very helpful and advised us what tours to go and very knowledgable about the island. The local bus stop , restaurants and shops just a few walks away. All in all we had a wonderful holiday and meet new friends. Thank you to all the family at Aegean view hotel for making our holiday so special from the moment we arrived and leave. Highly recommended.

Fantastic view of the Aegean. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly - the best. Shopping and restaurants and the beach only 5-min walk. Can rent a car at the hotel. Hotel room was a 3-bedroom apt with the pool immediately outside the door. Cappuccinos were perfect. Ancient Thera ruins on the mountain top above the hotel.

Excellent views, good comfortable and clean room, nestled in the mountains with an amazing view of the sea. Loved to get up early and watch the sunrise. Swimming pool was clean and cozy. Local food made in the restaurant was amazing too. But the best were the people who treated us like family. It is a family run hotel and everyone had our comfort at the top of their list. With the hospitality we got, we really enjoyed our stay. The only concern I had was I did not get good wifi inside the room. It may just be the construction that did not let the signals pierce through the walls too well. We sat outside our room on the patio and we were fine with the signal.

Hotel need a lot of upgrade.
Hotel staff was incredibly friendly, But this hotel needs major upgrade to do. Everthing looks very old, Mattress was very hard, and shower did not drain well. Wi-Fi did not work very well in the room. I feel like review in Trip advisor was too much over rated. This hotel is not 4 Star hotel, but 5 plus for staff friendliness !

Nice hotel. The hotel is on a side of s mountain and within walking distance to the beach... A little uphill walk to get back to the hotel. Staff super nice and helpful. Breakfast is nice and adequate. Our room had a private jacuzzi. There are a lot of shops and restaurants within a walking distance. Overall a good hotel for a reasonable price very close to Kamari beach.

Great view still close to everything
We toured 6 cities in Greece and this was our favorite hotel. We were worried that it wasn't right on the beach but it was much better. Just a 5 min walk to the beach but a spectacular view from our balcony. We also loved the bar and pool area. Our family went up there every night for drinks after a long day. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was amazing.

Awesome experience - If we need to summarize our stay in this hotel.. Wonderful front desk with ever helping staff, flexible in handling customers' request, very good view from the hotel, walking distance from Kamari beach and bus stop. A totally hidden oasis.
Very beautiful setting, against the mountain and facing the Aegian Sea. Attentive staff, good daily breakfast included. Close to the beach, away from the main crowd in Fira and Oia. If you have a rental car or planning on flying out, this would be a better area and place to stay. I only wish they have Wifi in the room.

The hotel owners are lovely and really try hard to make you feel welcome and at home. The hotel is tired and the roooms could use updating. The beds were very uncomfortable and the bathroom was soaked whenever one of us showered as the water went everywhere. Wish I could give a better review as I really liked the management.

Aegean View - The best view of Kamari.
Everything about this hotel was amazing. First the service, the staff were really friendly and helpful for anything. This was the highlight. The room was clean, excellent mattresses, excellent view as the hotel is called (The name does not lie). Beautiful view of the sun rising when you wake up in the morning. The staff were very helpful for everything. Thank you to all of you. Santorini is a beautiful island to visit and this hotel is situated near Kamari beach which is excellent for swimming and offers lots of restaurants/bars/supermarkets, etc....
