There is maximum privacy as each suite has a private balcony and entrance and breakfast is brought to the suite every morning. The hotel also organizes rental cars. It is only a 20 minute walk to Oia. Only one suggestion: “please-do-not-disturb” tags would be very helpful so that the privacy isn’t interrupted by a cleaner!

A really good sized room with great facilities. The staff were really friendly and went out of their way to make our stay really enjoyable. We loved the piece and quiet as we wanted a bit of a rest. It’s about a 20 - 25 min walk into Oia but certainly manageable.

Superb hotel with lot of privacy. The attached jacuzzi is a bonus. Walking distance (20 mins) to Oia. Very friendly staff. Tanya the manager is exceptional and gives good advice on sight-seeing and restaurants. They treat you to a heavy breakfast which is delivered to your room. Highly recommended. There is a bus stop just outside this hotel.

Small multi suite property in Fonikia near Oia so quieter than Oia. Beautifully maintained and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Amazing rooms we stayed in a suite with jacuzzi pool overlooking Oia and great sunsets. A handful of great places to eat nearby or stroll into Oia. Great place to stay!

Brilliant stay at Aperanto Suites
We had a a lovely 3 night stay in The Premier suite at Aperanto Suites. The room was very spacious, clean and bright. The bed was comfortable with a firm mattress and the views from our balcony were wonderful with the amazing sunsets in particular. The breakfast was generous with options to cater for dietary requirements. My wife is vegan and the staff made special arrangements for her which she very much appreciated. The balcony’s are fairly private however we did feel a little looked over at sunset time as other balconies were often full of other patrons. This is to be expected though as there is a fantastic view at that time! The hotel is a 20mins walk from Oia along the main road into the town. There are a few options to eat and drink (would recommend Santorini Mou in particular!) as well as ATMs and shops. The famed hike from Oia to Thira also starts on this road in between the hotel and Oia and is well situated for this. We enjoyed our stay at the Aperanto Suites and would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely stunning!
Visited Santorini in October but the weather was still nice and hot. We were lucky enough to see the most beautiful sunset from the jaccuzi. The staff were very friendly and they cleaned the room very well. Definitely recommend it!

Nice enough
Lovely hotel for couples as it is in a quiet neighbourhood , not far from Oia but on the windy side. View of oia and sunset from a distance but not of caldera. Hot tub was body temperature so not very hot .Breakfast was lovely

AMAZING - Olga and Manolis at reception went above and beyond to make this trip exceptional for myself and two friends I ran into on their honeymoon. I cannot wait to see them again. Also was amazing being in Finikia (much more local vibe/walking to OIA)

We had an incredible stay here on our honeymoon. Breakfast was brought to our rooms every morning and was delicious. There are a few great restaurants very nearby, and it’s just a short walk (about a mile) to the town. Watching the sunset from our balcony was an experience I’ll never forget.

Great sunset from balcony.
Room was spacious and comfortable with a fantastic view from the balcony. Breakfast was very nice and delivered to our room. Receptionist was professional and friendly. The hotel is very good value for money. During our stay fellow guests were very quiet. Other reviews commenting on the location are accurate.

Amazing hotel, but mediocre service
The hotel is very nice and new, and our room (honeymoon suite) was really above our expectations! Even the location is convenient if you want to visit the island and you are renting an atv or car (they have free parking, very rare in Oia). Unfortunately the devil is in the details and it is a pity that a so nice hotel has a so ordinary service: no amenities at all a part one shower gel made in China, poor attention to breakfast items (everyday something was missing), no new towels... I would recommend the management to look after this small details in order to make the service in line with the amazing hotel.

Looked just like the pictures. Very quiet and relaxing location but just 10 minutes from the famous Oia. Very clean and the staff were very nice and accommodating. The breakfast was a nice touch, but if you are staying there for more than 3 days, you get tired of the same options. Hotel is right next to few great restaurants and a cute bar at Sophia’s hotel next door.

Over 5 days, there was no cleaning service even after we told the property it needed done. The shower was moldy and the handle kept falling off. Absolutely the worst hotel on the island for the price.

This hotel provides the best value for your money. It’s a direct and straight walk to Oia, which is convenient. But note that there isn’t a pedestrian sidewalk for the entire walk to Oia. So at some points of the walk, you have to watch out for cars, ATVs, and motorcycles. Also, note that this hotel does not face the Caldera. If that isn’t too important to you, then this hotel provides excellent value.

We had an incredible week at Aperantos. We stayed in room 105 (room with a jetted tub) which had an incredible view of Oia and was at the edge of the hotel which meant more privacy and an amazing view from every window. The room itself was huge and the shower was too! Would highly recommend this room. It was roughly a 20 min walk to Oia (do not follow the road signs they are for cars) but this was a perfect medium for us because we could still wander around but did not have ANY of the Oia noise! There is a restaurant a few doors down from the hotel called Finikia, this was DEFINITELY the best meal we ate whilst in Santorini (my partner even stretched to say it was the best meal of his life). Would also recommend hiring a car for 2 days as it allowed us to explore the island at our own pace and was more than enough time to see everything. 2 must haves are comfy trainers and sea shoes!!! Thank you Aperantos for a perfect holiday which I will never forget!

The property is not in Oia nor the famous caldera views which was disappointing. However the views were still nice and quiet. It was a long, 20-25 minute walk to Oia - it was rocky, the roads weren’t straight and there was barely any shade. Our rooms were very spacious and the private balcony made the whole place feel like a home. The morning breakfast was always on time and hot. It was a beautiful view to eat on the balcony. We would stay here again for the hotel but if you want to explore it was inconvenient. You definitely would need to taxi, bus or rent an ATV. It was disappointing for us because we love to walk. It wasn’t as feasible from this area or if you choose to trek around - wear comfortable shoes.

The room had 0 privacy. The windows shutters had to be fully closed (and no natural light would come in) otherwise all guests could look into the room. No restaurant or room service on-site, so no way to get food after 9pm. The hotel shows up with a 4-star rating but at the most, it would be a 3 star. It is definitely overpriced.

We had the room with the private pool/jacuzzi which was really nice, we also had a terrace with sun beds at the roof. The only thing that I would like to have is a gym, but again, Santorini is full of uphills and downhills walking 😄
