Sadly Mersing was a grubby and disappointing town. We only visited here due to it being the only place to catch the Bluewater ferry to Tioman Island.

A new low in ‘hotels’. Avoid. Not a hotel but some rooms above an all night cafe. To be fair, the room appeared to have been cleaned and the bedding was clean.
