Fantastic views over the caldera from the property. Maria is a great host and is very knowledgeable. She is so helpful and nothing is too much trouble for her to organise. Short walk into town for restaurants and groceries. Quiet, away from all the main towns of Fira and Oia. Great sunsets. Best place to stay on the island.

Great spot to base yourself. It’s near the village where you can find great restaurants, car hire, ATM’s and supermarket. Accommodation is simple and clean inside, it’s all about the terrace, pool and view. Enjoyed the breakfasts. It’s at the top of the hill so you need a car or be fit enough to walk it. Recommend Parissa Beach (Apollon Restuarant and sun loungers) for the day, hit Fira and Oia when you see no cruise ships! Beautiful island and easy to get about, this is a quiet spot away from the crowds - it’s not really set up for full self catering - but you are well looked after during your stay.

5 star service from the start right through to the very end of our stay. We can't fault Earino staff one bit. They were all so accommodating. Maria was amazing. The property was jaw-droppingly beautiful, with amazing views of the caldera and outstanding sunrises. The neighborhood was extremely peaceful and the village of Akrotiri was so tranquil, we are already planning a return trip. Paul and Penelope communicated well before our arrival, gave the best advice on how to get around, where to go, what trade offs we should make with our limited time. They really went above and beyond in help with scheduling Covid testing to return to the states.

Pavlos and Penelope are very helpful. The location is away from the crowded Oia but great for relaxation. The suite is clean. I would have given it a 5 star if the wifi worked normal.

We have the best possible wifi network and we upgrade every year in order to maximize the internet we receive, but, no matter the wifi network we have, when the internet is poor, we can't do anything. I’m not sure if it was Santorini in general or the manager Mary and the driver, George being so helpful, but we felt so at home here. From the check in experience throughout our entire stay, everyone was extremely helpful and thoughtful. We arrived late in the evening for our stay, and everyone made sure we were able to go eat dinner. They arranged transportation to and from the restaurants with restaurant staff, which was amazing. The villa itself was BEAUTIFUL. The shutters helped keep the room nice and dark at night, and opening them to see that view first thing in the morning was nothing short of amazing. Though I was there with one of my closest girlfriends, the atmosphere was perfect for a honeymoon or just simply a romantic getaway. There was privacy and sun and our own private pool. It was truly unforgettable. Also, the pool was warm! I was surprised because I’ve read so many reviews. This one was definitely heated. Was a bit warm but still nice during the day. It was perfect at night to relax in with a glass of wine. The location was about a 25 minute drive to Fira, but I wouldn’t change where I stayed. It was nice to be across the water from the main town. I would 100% stay here if I make my way back to Santorini (and I plan to).

Comfortable Villa
The owners of this operation were amazingly accommodating and went out of their way to make our stay the best possible. The pool at the private villa kept our kids entertained for hours between all our sight seeing in Santorini. It was really nice to be in Akrotiri as it was quieter and than some of the bigger villages. This location is close to the lighthouse for sunset views and some of the best restaurants. Every morning fresh bread was delivered and the home was beyond comfortable. I'd stay with them again in a heartbeat! Thank you for making our visit to Santorini that much better.

Suites are great! Location is great depending on your liking, if you like quiet and away from the crowds this is the place for you! the staff is very helpful and they make the difference in this property. But I will add that is close to Red Beach, Black Beach, the Santorini Port and the Light house, which to me was a better choice than OIA to watch the sunset. Positive: Staff especially manager Penelope. Clean property and rooms, great view, comfortable bedding. Breakfast was delicious and they bring it to the room. You can use the umbrellas at Seaside Restaurant at the Black Beach which is a great place to relax. Negatives: Bathroom in my Junior suite was very very small. No pool for certain for the Junior Suites. Read the pictures descriptions on Expedia to make sure you get the right suite if you need a pool. You definitely need a car or motorcycle to Stay in Earino

Fantastic view and service, top Santorini area
A fantastic view, nice accommodations, reasonable prices and a friendly, well-organized service. The two ladies in change, Penelope and Lee, are outstanding and very nice. One important positive aspect is that these suites are in a part of the island that is not invaded by hordes of tourists, in particular those disembarking daily from monster cruise ships. As a consequence, the area is quiet and the quality of many restaurants excellent. We would recommend asking Penelope and Lee for help when organizing transportation and car rental, and also for restaurant reservations. Everything worked perfectly, and we felt that the restaurants gave us a special welcome. The most popular parts of the island are within a short car (or bus) drive, but the area around the suites is very beautiful and interesting on its own, with pretty villages, archeological sites and good beaches. We felt we were lucky in selecting this lodging, and we strongly recommend it.

Look no further. Best place to stay in Santorini
The Villa was outstanding! It was extremely comfortable, secluded with beautiful views, the private terrace and private plunge pool were amazing! The breakfast alone was nothing short of spectacular and had lots of options for everyone. Thousands of satellite channels for the nights you want to stay in and just relax at the Villa. Nearby to some of the most authentic restaurants on the island. Also very close to the ruins and more importantly the lighthouse (do not miss the sunset from here. As good as the sunset in Oia, if not better). Rent a car or ATV to explore the island. The beaches are also nearby which is an added bonus.

Great Hotel with Charming Hosts
Forget about how scenic the views from the windows were, or how quaint and cosy the rooms were. Forget even about the amazing hearty breakfasts (which you can customise and change daily) served every morning. The main attraction of Earino nestled in the southern portion of Santorini were the two lovely women who hosted us, Lee and Penelope, as well as their small but hospitable group of staff. The moment we got there, we felt like home, even if we were worn out from the transit and from dragging our bags around. Penelope met with us in a group huddle to discuss the things to do, and highlight all the various attractions on the island, even going so far as to make recommendations based on personal experiences and to accommodate to our budget constraints. Lee too was a gracious host, making time to chat with us in the reception office about anything and everything under the sun, even setting aside her work for the night to entertain the few of us. The housekeeping staff who doubled as the cooks in the homely establishment were also diligent and timely in their efforts to make us wish we could extend our stay indefinitely. It was an unforgettable experience, and one we'd love to recreate again, without question.

Very nice studio with views across the caldera
Studio was clean and well equipped - kitchenette for cooking, living area, upstairs bedroom. Bathroom was very small - shower was 24" square and you couldn't even turn around. Staff was very helpful - great breakfast and happy to help with local information.

Perfect for a relaxing stay
My sister and I visited in June for my birthday and we stayed in the Villa (we could have easily fit 3-4 other people with us). Penelope was fantastic, she helped us book shuttles and coordinate dinners and excursions around the island. We wouldn't have had the trip we did without her and Earino. They even brought me cakes for my birthday! The Villa is beautiful, and the private pool was so relaxing. Breakfast was everything you could hope for in Greece. We will definitely be visiting Earino again!

Nice, traditional, and calm
It's a traditional island-style suite where the top of the suite forms a semi-circle. The lower floor has a living room and kitchen and the upper floor has the bedroom. It is strongly recommended to have a vehicle especially if you staying here since the bus stop is almost a kilometer away. The balcony offers a beautiful view of the sea. The breakfast served was nice, especially the spinach pie. :)

Nice comfortable room with a view
The hotel is a little out of the way. I suggest renting a car, a cab, or arrange a pick-up with the hotel. Akrotiri is a little village, if you are looking for the picturesque Santorini that you see on postcards then you are better off staying either in Fira or Oia. There is no public transportation nearby so if you want to get around, you'll need to rent a car, moped, or an ATV. Other than a couple of taverns nearby, there really isn't much around the hotel. Fira is about a 20 minute drive and Oia is about 40 minute drive. The hotel has a very relax atmosphere, what I really liked about it is that it's away from the touristy area. Penelope and Mrs Pan are very helpful and accommodating. Whenever you have a question, Penelope always has the answer and if she doesn't, she will find it for you. When we checked in, they gave us a list of what's being serve for breakfast, you just mark the stuff that you want and the time you want it and every morning, Mrs Pan was there serving our breakfast on the balcony. The room we got was nice, comfortable, clean, and comes with an awesome view of Santorini. If you want to splurge a little, you can also get a room with a private jacuzzi. Even though the hotel is away from everything, renting an ATV will make your vacation more fun! It's the best way to get around the island!

Excellent Earino
This 4-apartment building overlooks the stunning Caldera, with glorious views of the 2 main towns of Oia and Thira. Beautiful by day with twinkling lights at night, it is a view to behold. Earino was made special though, not just with the views and quiet, but by the 2 members of staff, Angella and Fani, whose warmth, humour and helpfulness made the 10 days very special. I cannot thank them enough for the tips on restaurants and places to visit or the delicious homemade cake each day. So, the small print, as they say..! Do check that the apartment you choose has a pool, if important to you: 2 do and 2 don't. The pools are warm and beautiful at night to relax in with the glorious views. We stayed 7 nights in the Superior Junior Suite without pool and it is the sunniest, brightest apartment. I loved it. 3 nights we stayed in the Deluxe Suite with Plunge Pool, luxury indeed especially in the evenings. The beach is a 10 minute drive, so a pool is not important to some. The next tip is do hire a car.....it is essential to enjoy all that Santorini offers. Don't expect a neat and tidy parking space: it is Greece! WiFi was free and worked well. Breakfasts were superb. Restaurants plentiful and reasonably priced. Do visit Pyrgos and checkout BRUSCO Wine and Coffee Deli - superb apple pie! Great traditional, locally-sourced food. Santorini is beautiful and if you want a quiet, relaxing stay away from the throng of the cruise shippers, then this gem in Akrotiri is perfection.

Lovely and quiet - a bit tucked away
Earino is a great place to stay if you don't want to be near the hustle and bustle of the busier towns in Santorini. The place is great, very clean, modern and comfortable (excellent bed). The one downside was that I had booked it on the basis that it was self catering (it was advertised as such on all the websites it features on). Previous customer reviews explained that the kitchen was fully equipped. When I arrived I was told that cooking was not allowed. I had booked a place with a fully equipped kitchen because I have a health condition that means I can't eat out everyday. So I was quite disappointed to have paid 3 times more than my friends because I needed a kitchen. However, once I had explained my situation the reception staff and the owner were very understanding and brought me a couple of pans. It was a fantastic experience altogether but if you want to cook beware that you won't be able to.
