Staff need some attitude adjustments
I read reviews and thought it can’t be that bad … but the customer service ranges from non existent to negative. The location is fabulous if using the ferries which is why I chose to stay here - and price. Bathroom tiny and shabby. Side sea view and no balcony - the front rooms should be better. It took over 5 minutes after ringing the reception bell for someone to appear at checkout. She was perfunctory and had a charm bypass. When I asked if I could leave my luggage she gestured to the floor near the stairs ‘anywhere’. Given that no staff were present at reception or the bar ( busy in the kitchen) I opted to keep my luggage with me. Staff are evidently multi-tasking - perhaps the reason for sour expressions.

The only good thing about the hotel is the location. The room was very old, the whole place is falling apart for example beds had a weird smell, broken dirty furniture, even the toilet bin was rusty and pedal was completely broken with a metal thing coming out which you had to puss to then open the bin, which cost like what 5 euros to replace??!! There was a whole drama to have AC in the room as they remove the remote control of the AC once the room is empty so they gave it to us when we did the checkin. But then they also had turned off the switch from downstairs for the AC, and we had to ask the cleaning lady for help so she call them to switch it on. Then the remote control had lost connection with the AC as was removed from the room and they had to give us another. Too much trouble to just open the AC, it took us 30 min to resolve this. Service and staff was average, the cleaning lady was kind and helped us with the AC as mentioned before. During our checkin the manager was telling off the receptionist. Later she also had a fight with the two cleaners just outside our room, to the point that one of the other residents on the floor had to actually ask them to keep it down because she was sleeping! Overall, I know the location is convenient but try to avoid staying there, it does not worth your money at all.

Great location for the price
Great location for restaurants and the town, and lovely sea view. Room in need of a refurbishment- beds lumpy, and walls, curtains, bathroom very tired and worn. Clean though.

Excellent value for the money
We had a room on the 4th floor overlooking the small square and the lagoon/sea view. The room was clean, a decent size and adequately decorated. the bed was very clean and very comfortable. TV and a good fridge were available. The ensuite had a shower in a half bath and the water pressure and temperature was great. The views from the balcony were excellent and although it's in very popular area of the town the room was well insulated from any noise via the shutter and double glazing. There is a very good outside bar area which has good views and again in a popular area to watch the world go by. We did not have breakfast so can't comment. We only stayed one night but would definitely use this hotel again particularly at the price we achieved.

Lovely Hotel in perfect location with lovely room with great view of causeway leading into Town.The only problem was that the Air Conditioning did not work in my room and Receeptionist could not fix it.For price of room I would expect better.Only stayed one night and slept with balcony door open so not major issue.

Stay was okay. Hotel was at great location but room was really cramp. Bed is hard and not the most comfortable. While most of the staff were pleasant, had an u pleasant experience while at hotel bar and asking for directions to the washroom and was rudely told no several times and asked if I stayed at the hotel which I replied yes but was still told No for some weird reason.

Great location fo town.
Great location and we had a front room with fab views over the canal. No hotel parking though but found a place on the public street. Hot water and a bath tub which was a pleasant surprise. Very comfortable bed but only Greek to stations on tv. Fridge in room was good. Breakfast was very good Greek breakfast.

Broken window shutters and lift out of order!
The hotel was quite cheap and central. The breakfast was satisfactory as well. And this is where all the good points end... My room was on the first floor, no balcony and the left window shutter was broken! That meant that people could see through as I was on the first floor (good thing I only used the room to sleep!)The lift was out of order as well but I guess it was not too bad as I was on the first floor. The bathroom was tiny and the room was adjacent to another room-no privacy/ sound proof at all! When I informed the receptionist about the broken window shutter ( I did not want to get accused of breaking stuff!!!) they did not seem surprised...... They knew it was broken!

Great location in centre of town, website states free paking (but not parking available) unless they mean free street parking if you can find it! Rooms clean but old and tired, reflected in price. Unfortunaely we were placed in back room, with no view or balcony to dry towels & swimwear however as a positive was very quiet!

Don’t recommend
I was mislead by previous reviews and regret booking this hotel. Upon arrival, it became clear that the property has been neglected. The beds were unbearably hard and very uncomfortable, likely because they were very old and have never been replaced. We also encountered plumbing issues in the bathroom. What made all of this even worse was that the front desk staff was unpleasant, unhelpful, and not welcoming. The only pros to this hotel are the location, and the decent soundproofing from the street down below. However, I would not book again because there are plenty of other hotels nearby.

The maids didn’t clean our room. Came back from the beach at 6pm and it wasn’t clean. Has to go to the front desk and complain. The manager had to scream at the maid so she could come clean it ( she came an hour later as we waited). The rooms were VERY dirty. The bed felt like metal, it was noted comfortable at all. The staff was unfriendly. Not to mention the breakfast was a joke an drepulsing, so despite paying extra for breakfast included we still went to eat elsewhere. HORRIBLE.

The location of the hotel is the only good thing
I was disappointed in this hotel. I only stayed one night and was glad I did not stay longer. The staff were rude and my room was not ready at checkin time or even an hour and half after checkin. The shower bathroom was the smallest I have ever seen and a larger person would not fit at all in this room. There were no curtains to block out the traffic and lights on a very busy road. The buffet breakfast was very poor.

Upon arrival at 3pm well after check the process was smooth and quick. However once we opened the door to our room we quickly realised the the previous quests room had not been prepared for the next guests. We advised staff that the room had yet to be cleaned. We were then asked to leave and return later. We returned an hour later to a room that was barley cleaned with missing sheets and towels. Consequently we were left with no choice but to go and purchase cleaning products to cleaned the bathroom which had not been cleaned. The bathroom was filled with mold and soup scum. The mold was also all over the wall in the bedroom and bathroom. The next day cleaning did not come. Every time we went to reception no one was to be seen. We had to ask the following day to get fresh towels. When the room was eventually cleaned the third night we were only supplied towels and 1 sheet for 1 person. This is the second time I have stayed in this place and it will be the last. Location is great aircon is good. Thanks

Nirikos Hotel is located in one of the best spots in the main part of town....opposite the causeway and next to the main shopping/tourist district. You're the main hub. The room was a little run down but the location more than made up for it. The room had water views and the breakfast was limited and and a below average. However, considering the cost this was a bargain. Highly recommend purely based on its location.

Close everything in Lefkas town
Helpful staff - especially the owners and good value in terms of location etc. Handy having breakfast included. It is near some small bars that go late but with aircon and double glazed windows got good nights sleep. Mattresses are a little firm.

Never again. The majority of the hotel staff was unwilling to be of help, most were rude and unapproachable. The flaws of the hotel facility (e.g. elevator kept breaking down, fridge not working upon arrival, television not working upon arrival) could have been overlooked had the staff been more pleasant and helpful. Noise from the surrounding bars ran loud into the early hours of the morning, along with the revving of the bikes outside the hotel.

Winter in Leukas
I visited in winter, in the off season, so the town was very dead (at night, but it did liven up in the morning). The room had tile floors and the heating was the air conditioner, so it was pretty cold. The room also did not come with a hot water kettle, or a functioning refrigerator, although there is a cafe downstairs and the staff was happy to make me a tea and bring it up to the room. The breakfast is included, and it is very good, except they could have included some fruit! My room had a balcony with a view of the sea, water causeway, very beautiful.
