"Book a king size bedroom was given a two double bedroom and charge for the state of a king size bedroom. Rooms are not cleaned on the daily basis, but towels is replenished. Overall, the staff was nice and accommodating. The hotel inside and out was fairly clean. The hot tub could not be used. The pool is not open until 1 PM and close at 10 PM. The walls of extremely thin. The breakfast was better than most places I’ve been."

"I cannot say enough about how much we adored our stay here. It is so charming, so quaint, and very obviously well loved. Everyone we encountered on staff was genuinely warm and welcoming, the hotel was clean and bright. The proximity to the boardwalk is amazing, its within walking distance to the most beautiful brunch spot and surf shops. The hotel was amazingly quiet and calm despite us staying on Memorial Day weekend during a festival on the boardwalk. The balconies are a very decent size, the bathrooms are spacious. The whirlpool is so quirky and just adds so much to the old school charm of this place. The parking is super convenient with a reserved parking lot for guests (very helpful for being on the boardwalk). Family friendly as well, I would highly recommend for those with little ones! We are so in love with the Schooner, Im so grateful I went with this place instead of a chain hotel. It’s old school Americana realness, we are booking our next stay asap. I will miss this place everyday, thank y’all so so much. 1000000/10"

"The stay was just okay. There was no room cleaning during our entire five-day stay. Management claimed they are still following COVID-19 protocols, meaning we had to replace our own towels and empty our own trash. Additionally, there was an unknown man sleeping on the lobby couch on Monday between 5:00 AM and 8:00 AM, and it was unclear if he belonged to the staff. This raised some safety concerns."
