"A lovely family run hotel with attention to detail and great service.
Great location, with a super pool (great for kids). Beautiful views across the hillsides. Breakfast was delicious and very fresh.
Friday night BBQ and live music was a lovely experience.
We visited a local Thai restaurant on Friday evening, as recommended by the hotel - they weren’t wrong. It was really tasty and the service excellent. All in all would highly recommend and would love to return to Hotel L’Abbaye!"

"Horrible checkin process. Also your room has to pass inspection before you check-out or your 100 euro deposit is not refunded. Also you have to make and strip beds and haul the sheets and towels out."

"The hotel was just as I remembered it. Beautiful rooms looking out in a courtyard that leads to a very nice swimming pool. Everything about the stay was nice except the restaurant which was very disappointing. I had remembered this from four years ago as a lovely wonderful Happy meal. This time terrible service and ridiculous pricing. They force you into tasting menus with high price and tiny portions. No flexibility. Everybody has to get the same thing. This caused great problems because one member of our family was not feeling well and couldn’t eat much. Also, the seating for the restaurant was in full sun at 8:00 PM and everybody on the patio was uncomfortable as the sun ran its way across their attempted protection of flimsy curtains. That ridiculously expensive meal was the low point of our time in France,"
