"A really well kept house and property. Our room was large and bathroom was modern. It was very comfortable. Good wifi throughout.
No breakfast option, but you can make use of the kitchen.
The host communicated well. We were asked to make our full payment by bank transfer soon after booking. This may seem odd for people from some countries and cause for concern, but is apparently normal in Germany."

"This is a wonderful place to stay in Lindau. The staff was exemplary, the morning breakfast buffet was delicious - and it also had an outdoor seating area with lovely views. The outside seating can be accessed throughout the day and was a great place to unwind at the end of the day. The room was spotless with great amenities. They also offer a "honor bar" in the lobby with snacks, drinks, wine and beer. Restaurants and grocery stores are within walking distance as well."

"Waited in rain for no-show host. Another guest without hot water 24hrs and like us, host never responded to multiple WatsApp calls. 1st night we booked hotel Zwolfe. Do not book Gut Hügle for safe and secure stay as host has no communication or caring for guests."

"We had two family apartments. One which was the main floor, and one on the third floor. The main level was okay temperature wise with a travel fan; however, the third floor was horrible even with a travel fan. I would highly recommend investing in two fans per room or air conditioning. Bed was comfortable; however, I would invest in real pillows or definitely bring your own. Overall we had a lovely stay. The elevator did breakdown once but was fixed within 24 hours. Location was fabulous and...
