Great for a 1 night stay if you need to be near the airport. It looks a little scary at night (barbed wire, all enclosed) but in the daylight, it's an easy 10min walk to the airport. Breakfast was prepared on demand & better than expected. Rooms were comfy & clean. Only complaint was the hot water for the shower didn't work.

Pros- three blocks from the airport; Clean; Free breakfast; Friendly reception. Cons- Rooms are stuffy/hot; No A/C, no fans, even upon request; Cold water shower/ great since room was hot I guess? No restaurants, or food nearby; Shower drains slowly; Noisy outside, especially since we had to open window to try and cool room down.

Staff were lovely. Bed was king-size and comfortable. the breakfast was excellent. kudos to the chef. We would recommend Casa 96, even though the description is misleading regarding the hotel's location. Be prepared. The hotel map shows it located right at the airport and says it's within a one minute walk of GUA. This is not at all the case. It was a good 5-7 blocks away, which we didn't expect. especially given that we arrived at 11 at night; had no local currency, and weren't sure how safe the neighborhood was. At least a ten to 15 minute walk through dark deserted streets.

Did not know much about Guatemala City as had never travelled to a developing coutry before and not used to what decent areas can look like. Room was what we needed for the 6 hrs between flights. Close and quiet. Nice bed and hot shower. Attendant was friendly and did not speak English but got us a cab at 4 a.m. I would not use this as an extended stay hotel. A bed, tv, lights and bathroom. Clean.

Very close to airport. Property is secured. Helpful staff. Very clean. Great value. Noisy location near busy street. Windows are slotted glass that cannot close completely, so noise is part of your environment.

Had a great overnight stay. Short walk to the airport. Was able to get a fresh-cooked dinner at a great price after arriving late when all nearby restaurants were closed. Room was clean and comfy!

A lovely clean hotel with very friendly and helpful staff right next to the airport. Beds are super comfortable and everything was so clean. Perfect place to stay if you need to be close to the airport — staff also organised a very early/late taxi for us. 10/10!

Es un hotel sencillo, recién remodelado (pereciera) y limpio, el personal es amable. El hotel queda muy cerca del aeropuerto, aunque a los alrededores no hay mucho por hacer. La habitación no tiene clóset.
