"The owner Gabriel himself was very friendly. All the staff are very friendly, accommodating and helpful. The room is very clean but basic. No hair dryer and television but I’m fine with that! The bed cover which also serves as your blanket is very thin which probably bec it’s usually hot and humid in the Philippines. The WiFi signal is very poor but if you stay at their restaurant it’s better signal. Food in the restaurant are really good and make sure you try their homemade yogurt.
If scuba diving is one in your bucket list this is the place to check it. The instructor Martin is great! You can do it first at their house reef but try to do it as so well at the white beach or mantigue island
A tricycle ride away they call “ check point” you can buy Filipino street food, very cheap and yummy.
If you ask me if I’ll go back here again? Definitely!"
"We initially booked a 3-night stay at Mabini Hotel but ended up extending to 4 nights. The property feels fresh and new, conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from Mambajao Poblacion.
The on-site restaurant is a huge plus, serving tasty meals from 6 AM to 9 PM with a solid variety of options at prices that are very reasonable for the island. The staff were incredibly courteous and helpful throughout our stay, making us feel genuinely welcome.
Our room was spotless, with strong air conditioning that kept us cool and comfortable throughout our stay. The shower had reliable hot water- perfect after a day of exploring. The Wi-Fi signal was consistently strong across the property. They also have a small pool next to the bar, a lovely touch for unwinding in the evenings.
Highly recommended for anyone visiting Camiguin. We’ll definitely be back!"
"By Philippines standards, a nice resort on Camiguin Island. Nice layout with green space. Friendly and efficient staff. Food was very good. Room was clean, soundproof, with a nice outdoor bathroom. On the negative side - the eaves do not extend far enough out with respect to the bathroom, so you can get splashing from the rain within the bathroom. Toilet can get wet, along with part of the floor. Note there is construction next door right now. Did not really bother us as we were out 3 of the 4 days we were there. I would stay here again because overall it was a nice spot, nice layout, and friendly staff."
"Small, resort, nice rooms, very quiet for being off the main street. There's 2 restaurants next to the property, the tuna belly at either place is good. Small stores close for water-etc. Room has refrigerator, big house has microwave. Staff there is great, always helpful, always nice. Deffinately coming back to see the finished extra rooms, there's construction but somehow it's still quiet!
Deffinate good choice for staying in camiguin!"
