"From the moment we arrived till we checked out we found the staff extremely helpful, our room was cosy clean and well maintained, Clean towels were provided daily and bedding was changed upon request. Breakfast was great with a continental theme or cereal and your usual fry up which i must admit i enjoyed. the bar was well stocked with a great choice of beers, bottled beer, wine and spirits. The restaurant menu was very nice with the usual meals found at bars etc. Food was well cooked and waiting times were very good. Overall i would highly recommend the hotel."

"We stayed for 5 nights. We moved from a standard room at the front corner of the hotel as it was noisy and claustrophobic. The en suite having been built into the corner of the room , so all the other stuff ie chairs table wardrobe were squeezed in. The poolside suite which we were kindly moved to was new, spacious had air con and walk in shower ,……. stunning altogether! Such a difference ! Could not fault it !!! It was so hot when we stayed, so made good use of the outdoor pool. Bar area had carpet that had come apart,… trip hazard! Staff were excellent. Breakfast was lovely except occasionally ran out of certain items. If we are in the area again we would certainly hope to stay again. We enjoyed the vibe of Helmsley altogether."
