"We really enjoyed our stay at The Fox Hall Inn. Our room was modern, spotlessly clean, comfortable, good value for money, and the free continental breakfast (delivered to our room) was an added bonus!
The staff were welcoming and attentive and it was the perfect stop off for a couple of nights whilst visiting Barnard Castle, about 10 minutes away by car.
I think a car would be needed to reach the property, but I am unsure of the local bus service.
A super hotel which we would use again and would definitely recommend it to family and friends.
Thank you!"
"We had a pleasant stay at the hotel, the room was a decent size, clean and well furnished, the free buffet breakfast which is mainly continental did include bacon and sausages and was plentiful
The staff were excellent. There are plenty of parking places, and the hotel is dog friendly
The choice of beers was really good ,and food appetising although not many choices on the menu
Clapham is a lovely village, and is a good base to visit many scenic areas of the Dales
We will be making a return visit to the New Inn next year"
"The Grassington Lodge is truly minimalist. A very small room, two bath towels, and one hand towel. For the third of three nights they added a bath mat and a bar of soap.
The only staff ever present was the cleaning lady and her assistant. She was kind and helpful but certainly not enough to welcome and assist guests. "
"Very welcoming. Lovely room and smart TV. Breakfast was excellent and opportunity to get 20% off meals and drinks at the neighbouring pub was unexpected. "
"Great location near motorway ,great for staying or stop over .The food was excellent both duo roast which was fantastic and the breakfast which was great for journey home ."
