"I felt parking fees of $45 was a bit steep. Additionally, they have a hidden amenities/resort fee of $25 a night which I felt was dishonest and poorly communicated. A heads up, you can use the $25 as a credit at the hotel restaurant or bar, otherwise you will lose it. There is no room service or vending machines so you are pretty much trapped into dining, drinking, or snacking socially in these areas if you do not wish to leave the hotel. The rooms are pretty old and not very clean, the carpet felt damp and kind of sticky. The A/C was not working properly throughout the trip so I had pretty poor sleep. The outdoor pool was very refreshing, though they have the music very loud all day so it’s not so relaxing. It is open to the public so anyone can just stroll in. There is a bar poolside which is neat and the hotel is right on the Riverwalk. Very pretty views on the riverside of the hotel if you are able to get a balcony room higher up. The riverwalk leads to many restaurants and cool spots, I mostly walked throughout my trip. I appreciated the front desk staff, the operations manager held my suitcase for a few hours on my last day so I could get out and do things without having to haul it around. "
