Hotels near Gulfport Tuesday Fresh Market

"The resort has great beach access with lots of things to do. Our room was generally clean, but there were areas that appeared had not been cleaned in a very long time, such as the A/C return vent and places like the top of the thermostat; these were filthy. Housekeeping is upon request, although one time they came in without a request. The one time we did make a request for additional coffee, our request was never fulfilled. The front desk, restaurant and bar staff are very good. However, none of the other site staff seem to understand English which makes communicating nearly impossible. When housekeeping was near we request toilet paper and Kleenex. The housekeeper had no idea what we were talking about and we had to play charades to get what we needed. Another significant issue was the elevator near our room. It was very slow and several times during our stay it was closed for service. This was the case when we were checking out and ended up having to carry our luggage down the stairs. Overall the the resort is nice, but for the price we will probably explore alternatives for our next visit. "

"While the rooms were a little small (2 queen with balcony) they were clean & and the resort had so many amenities that we forgot about the smallish room. We had a resort view but could still see the ocean. We loved that there are so many activities the kids can participate in. We’ll definitely be back! "

"This was our third time at this property. They did a great job recovering from the hurricane and everything looks great. The staff at this property is amazing and the food is great. "

"The AC was excellent.There was a coffee bar in the morning which was wonderful.There was a happy hour at night which was very enjoyable because we could talk to other guests.The beach was magnificent!The pool was great."

"Room didn't overlook the beach it overlooked the parking lot. Housekeeping was minimal at best. Restaurant was closed remodel ????? It was mid all the way around"

"There was still sand on the floor after cleaning. Soap wasn’t refilled when it was gone. Some chipping at the paint in the bathroom sink. Overall, these are minor things. I love the location of the hotel and would stay there again. "

"They charge you to clean and service your room on a daily basis, unheard of. That’s usually included in your room fee. Hotels.com is not honest in how they present properties. I will never use a 3rd party again to book any thing. "
