"Good location. Room was an airless windowless box. Like all Indian hotels it was worn out and ingrained dirt. The Expedia photographs show a decent room with windows and space what I got was room 202 and my pal 402. Both windowless boxes. The catering was awful unless you want some ghastly green brown liquid curry for breakfast.DIY toast was the best on offer for Europeans."

"This stay is in a very good location in Amritsar. Unfortunately, the photos on the booking profile do not accurately reflect the stay, at least in my case. There was no window in the room, the bedding was perhaps not laundered very well, and the cleanliness left something to be desired. No water, no coffee/tea kettle. This said, the AC worked very well and overall the stay was comfortable enough."

We arrived 3 hours before our check in time but as soon as our rooms were ready we were able to check in (2.5 hours early). The staff were friendly, helpful and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The restaurant was great for food and drinks. We also utilized the gym and pool which were a great bonus. Other than doing the tourist attractions we came to see we didn’t need to leave the hotel as we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend Fairfield by Marriott. "
