The only merit is that it’s close to Bulguksa. There is no gym and swimming pool is not included in the fee. Bathroom sink and shower head gave us hard time. Staff were all nice and smiling so it made everything a bit better.

If I visit Gyeongju again, I would 100% go back.

Kolon Hotel was remodeled in 2023, so the beds and facilities (air conditioning, bathroom, amenities, etc.) were excellent. However, perhaps because it was only a renovation, the window frames are still a bit outdated. There weren’t any major downsides, but it wasn’t perfect either. It offers great value for money, and the breakfast in particular was outstanding and delicious. What I liked the most was the Time After Time exhibition. If you’re Korean, I highly recommend getting tickets. The program was great, the facilities were well maintained, and there was a lot to see. Both the kids and the whole family were very satisfied.

Interesting Hotel within walking distance of templ

Hotel was really for vacationing Koreans. Children were welcomed. Rooms were comfortable but there were no overhead lights near the beds and no end tables. Cleaning services were avaliable but several times we got back to our room in late afternoon to find the room had yet to be serviced. Hotel was near a famous Buddha temple but not centrally located.

Thos us good hotel as a golft resort. But, not for tourist. They did renovation but still old such as no balcony and small room with big beds. Also, nothing in the room such as no wine opener,wine glass,very chief glass. This is not chief hotel in South korea but nothing good. Oh on table and chair not even small table due to small space. Anyway thanks.

시설이 노후되어 세탁과 청소로도 감춰질 수 없는 미세한 불쾌감이 있습니다. 공조 설비에서 내려오는 공기나 침구의 냄새에서 세월의 흔적이 맡아집니다. 또한 가족 단위 투숙객이 많음에도 방음이 철저한 편은 아니라, 투숙객 이동이 많은 아침, 저녁 시간에는 소음을 감수해야 합니다. 주변 환경은 불국사 입구의 천혜의 조건이나, 이를 호젓히 즐기기 위해 오랜 기간 숙소에 머무르기 보다 단기간 잠만 주무실 분들이나 이른 새벽 석굴암 방문하실 분들은 가성비 숙소로 괜찮다고 판단됩니다.

호텔 내에서 할거리가 많음 미디어 아트도 있고, 호텔 탐험하는 미션이 있어서 아이들과 재미있게 했음. 근데 객실 화장실에 들어갔는데.. 청소가 좀... (붙이는 속눈썹이 있다던가 샤워부스 위에 봉이 있는데 누구의 머리가락인지 알수없는 긴 머리카락이 걸려있고.. 허허) 그 외에는 뭐 그럭저럭 괜찮았음. 아침식사는 자리가 많아서 붐비지는 않는데 메뉴가 다양하지는 않음.

급하게 예약했는데.. 겉은 호텔이지만 로비냄새부터 룸까지 냄새는 완전 모텔냄새에요. 냄새만 모텔이 아니라 방까지 그냥 모텔 그자체.. 화장실휴지좋은것도 아니면서 블랙휴지걸이라서 휴지에서 날리는 먼지가 자욱하게 쌓여있어요. 오래된곳이라 침대 스프링나간 소리 다 들리고 엄청 푹 꺼져요. 그리고 골프장을 위한 호텔이기에 주차도 메인자리는 골프전용으로 차단기 쳐져있어요. 숙박객은 한참 내리막내려가서 주차하고 오르막길 걸어올라와야합니다. 몰랐으니 갔지, 다시는 안갈꺼같은 호텔이네요.
