"The rooms themselves were actually very nice, clean, comfortable, and we initially had a great impression of our stay. Unfortunately, our checkout experience completely changed that. The maid's behavior was incredibly disappointing and honestly shocking. She was rude, spoke to us in a very aggressive manner, and repeatedly followed us around while we were in the process of leaving, as if she assumed we were not going to follow the checkout instructions or return the key properly. We were already preparing to check out and there was absolutely no reason to be treated with that level of hostility. As guests, you expect to feel welcomed and respected. Instead, we felt uncomfortable and rushed out. One employee can dramatically change an entire experience, and unfortunately this interaction overshadowed what otherwise could have been a pleasant stay. The rooms deserve praise, but customer service and respectful treatment of guests matter just as much."

"There was limited parking. We saw one staff member when we walked in. Our room key was set out on the counter along with every other guests’ keys and the key laid on top of a card that had all of our info on it. The employee didn’t even check who we were. We could have picked up any room key. We got our key and went to our room. It’s an older property and looked pretty rough. The wall was poorly patched and the kettle and cups were dirty. Breakfast the next morning was okay. The location was close to the airport so that was the reason we booked this hotel"

"Hotel was perfect for our one night in Iceland. Location was great with 100m walk to airport. Could not ask for more helpful staff and offering.both breakfast on site as well as a restaurant for a no need to leave hotel for dinner option."

"We had a great stay at Viking Studio during the beginning of our trip around Iceland. It was the perfect place to rest and recover after a long flight before starting our journey. The studio was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. We especially appreciated having a fridge, microwave, and dishes in the room, which made our stay much more convenient. There was also a shared kitchen area for guests with a machine where you could make coffee or hot chocolate. Overall, it was a very cozy and practical place to stay, and we would happily recommend it to anyone starting their Iceland trip."
