"I really enjoyed spending time at this hotel. The staff are very welcoming and wonderful people to be around. The staff made sure that I had a shuttle to go around town and a safe way to get there, had a secure place to store the remaining luggage, and they made delicious food for breakfast and at the restaurant. "Kaliwa lodge is 1hr from airport & Mt Kili walking points. You must arrange transport with lodge to go anywhere as the lodge is very isolated. Located amongst banana plantation down a very bumpy dirt road. Lodge is surrounded by walls and is secure. The lodge has a garden courtyard with rooms around yard.
