Hotel is showing signs of age but is well maintained and clean. Excellent front desk staff. Good lighting in the room. "Extremely handy to Hiroshima Station (and the stadium, if looking for that). I walked into the city centre daily to meet up with friends daily and it was an easy 25 minute walk. The room was reasonably equipped (tiny by North American standards, but average for Japan). The carpeting was tired and stained, but the bedding was fine. Breakfast was ... basic. Moderately better than the "coffee and bread" advertised in the elevator, but that baseline left little room for disappointment. Made for a reasonable snack on the way to breakfast. ;) The photos with food on a patio are utterly misleading as there is no bar/food source attached to the hotel."
