"Having stayed in a Budget Ibis in Poland the night before, my expectations were not high, but they were surpassed. This hotel is good value, it is a budget hotel so don't expect any frills. The rooms are basic and functional, ideal for stopping over on a journey, rather than long stays. The staff were friendly and even waived our 3 Euro parking fee as we were transporting aid to Ukraine. Breakfast was nice, a good selection of alternatives for all tastes. The only point I found a little odd...

"Die Unterkunft liegt direkt am Wald. Das ist sehr angenehm. Leider hört man bei offenen Fenster die Bundesstraße. Ansonsten ist das Hotel sehr ruhig. Das Buffet am Abend war recht übersichtlich. Ausreichend aber für ein 4 Sterne Hotel hätte ich mir keinen Harzer Käse und Leberwurst gewünscht. Die Kaffeemaschine zum Frühstück war sehr langsam. Das hat zu einer langen Warteschlange geführt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend."
