"Booked an executive suite for our wedding anniversary. Nothing wrong with the suite but myself and my husband aren’t late night partygoers so just like a few drinks, nice food and then watch a bit of tv snuggled up in bed…..however no tv in the bedroom and only a very small 2 seater sofa in the living room where the tv is so left us a bit disappointed. Also I think the old executive lounge was a lot better ambience wise. The food and drink was excellent in the lounge but I felt like we were sitting in a glass square box rather than a nice chilled out area as the old lounge was so again a bit disappointed. Still enjoyed our stay but not sure if we’d stay their again."

"Everything was great about our stay. Fabulous room, comfortable bed but it was really warm and there was no way to cool it down. I asked for a fan but they didn’t provide one. Good in the Refuge was fabulous, complimentary drink was a lovely touch. Brrss as least was really good - lots of choice. Check in staff were great. The hotel is a bit of a maze but that adds to its character. Great location for exploring Manchester. Would definitely go back. . "
