Wonderful hotel. Stafff and facilities were excellent. Highly recommended.

The hotel was located beside Victoria station and underground so commuting around the city was easy. The room was very clean and quiet with a fabulous view across the city. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and the staff were very helpful. We would definitely stay at the Riu again.

We've always preferred staying in Westminster when we visit London but had never stayed at the Royal Horse Guards before. We found it almost by chance on this trip and are very happy that we did; it will be our first choice on future trips to London. The hotel is ideally situated just a short walk from Trafalgar Square and right along the Thames and yet is on a quiet side street away from the noise and crowds. The building is over one hundred years old and just exudes character and uniqueness while at the same time being impeccably maintained and very comfortable. The rooms are very comfortable and also have a lot of character. The restaurants on site are reasonably priced (for London) with excellent staff and service. The entire staff was very good, friendly and professional and always there to help with anything we needed. In Westminster you can't do better for location and service than this hotel. We can't wait to go back.

Great place on the perfect location! It is nearby so much. Staff were all kind and helpful. Beds were very comfortable and room was huge. I think your shower has a strange set up. It’s so small yet shower head was so large. There’s nowhere to soap up. Also be aware you’ll hear the city noise if you face front. There was a lot going on and we could hear cheering into the night (a football rally?) With the price, they could invest in some soundproofing. Other than that, I highly recommend.

This is a lovely hotel, with attentive staff and ideally located right by Victoria train station. When we arrived and we saw how close we were to the station, we were worried about noise, but this was a very quiet hotel and we never heard the trains. Breakfast was nice, with a good selection and the hotel restaurant was really lovely and not expensive for London. I would definitely recommend this hotel !
