Bait and switch! I thought this was part of the Budget Inn chain so I was expecting no frills but clean. This place had no maid service. No soap. No shampoo. Blood spatter on the bathroom ceiling. Lipstick (I hope!) on the washcloth. No bed springs - just a foam mattress on a piece of plywood and hard as a rock. Noisy AC which didn't work well. Toilet barely flushed. They didn't have the room with two beds I reserved, so they gave me an extra room at no charge, and then called me after 10 pm to ask me to move back into a room with two beds. I thought about sleeping in my car but there were sketchy people coming and going all night and the parking lot didn't feel safe. Our group had three rooms and we all agreed this was by far the worst place any of us had ever stayed. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

Did not have a room with two beds that we reserved so they offered two rooms for the price of one. That was fine until they called after 10 pm to ask us to move into a room with two beds that had become available. Room smelled. No maid service. No shampoo or soap. Bed had no box spring - just a foam pad on a sheet of plywood. Blood spatter on bath ceiling. Lipstick on washcloth.Holes in wall. Enamel chipped off tub. Toilet barely flushed. Our group had three rooms and we all agreed it was by far the worst place we have ever stayed. Stay away!

The Motel is located on the bus route which is perfect for a solo female traveler, accessible easily to downtown and anywhere else you want to go by bus in Hamilton and surrounding area. Staff were friendly and understanding upon my arrival and I found the place comfortable for my needs. I stayed for two nights. The neighborhood like most of Hamilton is overrun with addicts, and people with obvious very serious mental health issues. My best advice if travelling alone and by bus, get everything done by sunset or take cabs. Main and sanford. all the way down to Barton and Sanford is very creepy especially at night. The motel can't help where it's located but if your looking for reasonable accomodations and a nice bed, this is the place.

Don't call this a hotel motel etc.
They only clean your room, change your towels, take out your garbage etc if you ask them to, but they do NOT tell you this is the way it is. Not a motel, really a rooming house for locals who aren't doing the best they can with their lives. Never saw a maid while there, but saw many hangers-about.

The ground floor window doesn't lock. The parking lot which our window faces has both drug deals and subsequent injections. The whole place reeks of cigarette smoke. We didn't feel safe to stay the night, went somewhere else even with no refund given

This hotel is okay for just a short stay. The staff are welcoming, the room just sizeable for me and my 3 kids. The property itself is old and not well maintained. The facilities there are also old, not what I expected!. There is free internet though.

Upon arrival, like many places, there was no welcoming. It was an immediate ' can I have a photo ID and then how do you prefer to pay?" Very poor people skills.

Location for my schedule was excellent. Room was clean. Enough towels. Coffee was ok. A fridge and micro was available and working. The beds were comfortable. Just one thing about those beds. They sit on a box with no clearance underneath. Great to keep dust from accumulating under the bed (allergy sufferers note). However, it's easy to stub your toe, if you're not careful (I did). Other than that, the place is very good.

For the pricing it is not bad. Area has minimal things. What my issue was, was the smoking. I had a non-smoking room but smoke travels. It was awful. And there are rules about visitors and being loud after certain times, I was woken up on the hour every hour during the night by all the noise in the halls and other guests

I chose an inexpensive hotel close to downtown. All I wanted was a room with 2 clean beds and a clean bathroom. I was surprised that the beds were very comfy and the room was decor was fresh and bright. It was on a bus route and we had Presto cards so we saved on cabs too. It was not fancy but the staff is friendly and parking is free. I'd book there again.

No closets. Hung my shirts on a screw sticking out of the wall. No radio (to use for wakeup). Phone was dusty when I checked in. Ran my finger along the top of it. It was still dusty when I left. No "do not disturb" sign for the room door (apparently you have to bring your own). Staff was nice enough and helpful when I needed it (hotel card key didn't work one time and before I could go to the front desk, employee came to help (obviously, they were watching the security camera closely).

The room itself was clean and didn't smell but the lobby and hall ways reaked of smoke smell, really badly and the entrance where you check in is very dirty and outdated, would need a paint job or something to make it more pleasant. Other than that we slept good.

Older, but reasonably priced inn.
We were hesitant about booking this motel because it is an older building, but the pictures on hotels.com website looked alright. Because of the location we needed to be at, the price and the pics we decided to try it. We were pleasantly surprised with the condition of the inn and the rooms. Our original reservation was for a non smoking room, when I checked on it I found out it was on the second floor and no elevator. I informed the front desk that stairs were difficult for me, so I was extremely surprised and grateful to find out on check in that we were upgraded to a non smoking king bed on the main floor. The rooms were renovated, nicely laid out with comfortable bed and pillows. If I could make one suggestion it would be to update the bathroom. The existing toilette was way too low, making it difficult to get up from, and the tub/shower unit had very slippery floors once they were wet. If you have any kind of disability which requires aides in the bathroom, then this is not the inn for you. Other than that we found the front desk to be friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our stay.

We went literally just to sleep over, visiting for wedding. I was surprised to see that and microwave and fridge had food left overs from previous guest. Bed was comfortable for 2 nights stay, bathroom was “renovated” but you have no glass or place to leave thoothbrush or anything, like it’s designed for one night only.

If you want to save money...
After reading reviews i was worried but found this place clean and the neighborhood quiet. Got in late and needed to eat but all the local places closed down. The service guy helped me find some order-in places which was great of him. The bed was firm but that didn't bother me. If you want an affordable stay, with little frills, this is it. Wifi was all I needed and I got it.
