It's the second time we stayed in Curringa Farm after 13 years. It's still as wonderful. Jane and Tim are very friendly and helpful as always. The two-hour farm tour is a must to join and it's very informative. And watching the night sky full of stars and even aurora is truly enjoyable. A must place to visit in Tasmania.
We loved our stay at Curringa Farm. The cottage we had was plenty large for our family of 6 pax and clean and very well furnished. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook up a quick meal and we thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the farm with the scones the next day. Our kids loved their farm visit and being able to feed the alpacas & highland cows & chickens. Thanks for a lovely time. :)
The rural sheep farm offered quiet, a modern cabin, excellent food dinner, a wonderful farm tour that included wallabies, echidnas, a sheepdog herding demonstration, and an up-close sheep shearing demonstration. The owner is gracious and informative in several languages. We spent 2 nights enjoying comfortable beds and the calls of many interesting birds and animals. Nearby we can also recommend the gin distillery tasting and hiking the 3 waterfalls at Mt. Field national park.
It was amazing! The house was big and spacious. Quiet and comfortable. The farm tour was great, just abit costly. The house has quite a number of crawling insect during the night time. Otherwise it was a great experience!
Excellent views over looking sheep glazing grass land. Beautiful cottage with full facilites, clean and tidy. We love the unit layout with full glass window, enable a full view of the grassland.
We had a fantastic couple of days at the Curringa Farm. The chalet is well-located (far off the main road), big and well-equipped enough for a much longer stay. It has all necessary amenities. We also enjoyed a generous barbecue hamper on the second day. It is not too far from the walks at Mount Field national park.

Stunning Property and Wonderful Hosts!
We stayed 'Over The Back' in one of the beautiful log cabins. It's incredibly quiet, the views around the property are amazing and the owners are absolutely wonderful. Grab yourself some champagne, fire up the BBQ and enjoy the Australian wildlife. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. Highly recommended!
The serenity and setting are amazing
Very relaxing
Breakfast and dinner provisions wonderful
Maybe some paper towel and bbq clean wipes to clean outside bbq
Many insects came out in the house even we had closed all windows and doors. All ladies were very frighten and screamed. We had no means but found a vacuum cleaner to suck all insects as we could. It's a terrible night!
Our family of four enjoyed the space and luxurious touches at our Curringa cottage. We had a stunning outlook over the dam and watched as the setting sun changed the surrounding countryside to a golden glow. The hosts were very friendly, helpful, and supplied a generous breakfast for the first day’s stay. We wished we could’ve stayed on a little longer. Very relaxing in a beautiful setting.
We really enjoyed the stay with Curringa farm, the place was perfect for our family of four, very spacious and peaceful. Especially enjoy our dinner at the patio with the sunset view, Tim and Jane are very helpful and kind to offer us homemade apple pie. Everything is perfect. We also joined the farm tour there the next day.
Nothing to not like about the place!! Stayed in the seaglenest studio, really pretty. Each accommodation in the farm is set a distance away from each other so you’ll have your own privacy. Woke up to sheeps grazing in the back. They have a couple of alpacas and highland cows as well. Tim and Jane were kind enough to arrange for someone to show us around the farm when they couldn’t fit us in for the tour (thanks Sophie!). Highly recommended to stay here!
Curringa Farm provides us BBQ food enough for three meals. That's a bonus. The room is clean and the view is fantastic. At the night we could hear sheeps borowow and see the walking around our cottage. An interesting experience.
