"From the moment we arrived the staff were attentive and friendly, after a 3 and half hour journey we had a lovely roast dinner and a beer which went down very well. We were then shown our room which was perfect, and matched the quaint pub, the bed was comfortable. tea, coffee, milk, biscuits, & water readily available, en-suite with shower and t.v. Breakfast was lovely all fresh and local produce. Final evening we had a lovely meal which coincided with my husbands birthday, the dessert came out...

We didn't eat there in the evening as we went out exploring but there was a good choice. The pub was in a great spot that was a nice 15 minute walk into town but because it wasn't in the centre it meant we had free parking. We really enjoyed our visit."
