The Maids Head Hotel

The Maids Head Hotel

8/10 Good
"Lovely spacious bedroom though lots of stairs to get to it as no lift. The room was a bit noisy from traffic outside but didnโ€™t disrupt my sleep. Heating controlled centrally by reception was cold when I first went in and I asked for it to be turned up which the receptionist had forgotten to do so had to ring back later. This isnt ideal and wouldnt want to stay in winter. Staff in restaurant in the evening and at breakfast were a little inattentive. Waited 20 mins for someone to take my food order in the end went to the bar to order it myself, the same happened at breakfast when ordering from the menu. However the food was excellent."
